The Bass Fishing on Lake Seminole has been very productive despite the inclement weather. As we enter into the second half of February and with predicted warmer weather, the Bass fishing will improve even more!
I had a great day with Don Jones from Dawsonville, Georgia and Jimmy Hammond from Rome, Georgia we caught some nice Bass and some big Crappie!
The months of February and March are an excellent time to fish Lake Seminole for Bass as they move shallow into their spawning areas. Plastic worms and Lizards are a good choice, fished slowly around the abundant vegetation on Lake Seminole.
The Crappie have already started to bed and are being caught on minnows and Jigs. Crappie are also still being caught in 7 to 10 feet of water.
