Lake Seminole is a half of a foot foot below full pool and the water temperature remains in the upper 80’s. The Flint and Chattahoochee River arms of the lake have slight stain from the lack of any significant rainfall in recent weeks, Spring Creek is clear.
Currently the Bass have been biting Topwater lures in the mornings and afternoons. Walking baits like a Heddon Zara Spooks and Buzzbaits continue to generate some explosive strikes on the grass lines on the main lake.
I had a great trip with the owner of Untamed Tackle we caught numerous Bass on the Punisher Swim Jigs and Frogs! The Bass are feeding early and late in the evening, which is great for split day trips to combat the South Georgia heat.
