Lake Seminole is a 3/4 foot below full pool and the water temperature is in the upper 80’s. The Flint and Chattahoochee River arms of the lake have very slight stain from the lack of any significant rainfall in recent weeks, Spring Creek is clear.
The Bass fishing on Lake Seminole has been good this first week of August. The top water bite has been excellent early in the morning and late in the evening. Topwater lures like Buzzbaits and walking baits like Heddon Zara Spooks have been productive.
The Bream are still bedding on the lake and we just had another big may fly hatch in August. What a great way to introduce kids to fishing than getting on a Bream bed and catching them one after another.
We offer split day trips to help combat the South Georgia heat please give us a call to check availability for August we would love to share our passion for fishing with you.
