The water levels on lake Seminole have been high all December as this was a record high for rainfall amounts in this area. This has the fish a little confused but also has them congregated up in tight schools. So once you catch a fish chances are there are others there as well. Deep chartreuse and blue crankbaits such as a Jenko CD20 have been working well in Spring Creek on grass points and current breaks. Also look for rocks on the Flint and Chattahoochee Rivers. More rain in the forecast means more muddy water and current but this is a good thing. Throw a Red Rattle Trap and Chatter Bait as well on shallow grass flats.
The next few months is a great time to fish Lake Seminole.
