Lake Seminole fishing is heating up right now. Bass are in full spawning mode as many males are either guarding beds or guarding fry. There are also some pre-spawn fish being caught and these are mostly the big females that everyone wants to catch. They are a little harder to find because they are mostly related to current breaks or deep grass. The shallow fish are easier to catch and they can be found in clear backwaters off of spring creek or fish pond drain or on main lake sand bars. You can pick these off on either a Carolina Rigged Berkley Bottom Hopper in Junebug or a Texas Rigged Berkley Pit Boss in Black/Blue. An Abu Garcia Revo is a must because you can make really long casts and not spook the fish. With these 80 degree days and plenty of sunlight make sure you protect yourself with some sunblock and an Aftco Sun Mask.
